为了尽可能减少贴纸杂质、砖头等硬物进入到垃圾库，以造成破碎机的损坏，故在垃圾进入破碎机前必须进行垃圾分选等工序，就是将混合垃圾进行有效的分类，对某垃圾成分中的少量杂志进行分离，得到较为单一的祖分，或从混合垃圾中分离出某种少含量垃圾组合，分离出来的分类垃圾，这样有利于垃圾的回收再利用和后续处理。
经过分拣之后的垃圾进行破碎后，就通过炉前输送系统（带式输送机），将其运至焚烧炉进行后续事宜。
长益针对该项目输送带的实际情况，做了二级清扫装置，否则输送机上的垃圾料层过厚，会造成输送困难。
经过二级清扫之后的炉前输送带，轻松持续无负荷，减轻了工作人员的负担，保证了垃圾输送的效率。
